Jonathan Berry (Board Treasurer) is a native of Oklahoma and came to Colorado Springs after spending five years in Dallas. There he completed Leadership Arts, a program designed to expose community members to the arts and to non-profit and their boards. He has been a commercial relationship manager with BBVA Compass in Colorado Springs for four years. A recent devotee of Disney Cruises, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two young sons.

Lauren Ciborowski – (Board Secretary) graduated magna cum laude from Colorado College in 2004 with a BA in Southwest Studies and a minor in German. In 2009, she opened the award-winning Modbo gallery in downtown Colorado Springs, which is home to monthly art shows, musical cabarets, and many other eclectic events. In addition to being a gallerist, Lauren has worked as a professional pianist for nearly a decade, and is an accomplished ballet accompanist, solo pianist, and chamber musician with an active teaching studio. Along with the Millibo Board, she is proud to serve on the DDA’s Business Improvement District board.

Courtney Deuser – (Board Trustee) moved to Colorado Springs in 2016. A Kansas native, Courtney earned her Master of Public Administration degree from Kansas State University. She is the Development Officer at Urban Peak Colorado Springs and previously served as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado.  Her experiences at these organizations as well as Leadership Pikes Peak, provided Courtney with an opportunity to learn about the amazing things happening in the Colorado Springs community. She believes in speaking out for marginalized populations and creating a more equitable society. She has a robust volunteer portfolio that includes Colorado Springs Rising Professionals and Springs Equality, just to name a couple.

Tim Kranz – (Board President) is a graduate of the University of California San Diego in Mechanical Engineering. After two years working in Spain he came to Colorado to further pursue his engineering career and his passion for the outdoors. He is a founding partner of CityROCK Climbing Center in downtown Colorado Springs and currently works at the Colorado Springs Independent. Tim has volunteered extensively in the arts for the Manitou Arts Center, Concrete Couch, and has served on the Give Steering Committee for a number of years. He also frequently does volunteer trail work and has helped coordinate many fundraisers for TOSC, RMFI, Medicine Wheel, the Palmer Land Trust and MAT. He believes strongly in giving back to the community.

Marisa Hebert (Board Trustee) is a Colorado Springs native and graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with degrees in both Theatre and Women’s Studies.  After ten years as the Problem Management Analystat Premiere Global Services, Marissa helped found the Axiom Group in 2017 where she currently serves as Operations Director.  An active member of the theatre community, Marissa has worked with the Fine Art Center, Millibo Art Theatre, TheatreWorks and the Springs Arts Ensemble.

Kate Maiurro (Board Trustee) is the Director of Development at Discover Goodwill of Southern & Western Colorado.  She previously spent 11½ years at her alma mater, Fountain Valley School, in a variety of director positions – of development, of alumni and parent relations, of financial aid and as associate director of admissions. She has a bachelor’s degree in art history and journalism from the University of Kansas.

Bill Bowers – (Honorary Board Trustee) is an award-winning actor, and has performed in all 50 United States and Puerto Rico appearing on the stages of Broadway, The Kennedy Center, The White House, Steppenwolf, LaMaMa, Theatre for a New Audience, St. Anne’s Warehouse, Urban Stages, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, Radio City Music Hall, HERE, and the New York International Fringe Festival. His Broadway credits include Zazu in The Lion King and Leggett in The Scarlet Pimpernel.   He has also portrayed the great silent clowns:  Charlie Chaplin in the world premiere of Little Tramp, Pierrot in the world premiere of Beethoven N Pierrot, and Petruchka with The Colorado Symphony.  A passionate student and educator, Bowers studied with the legendary Marcel Marceau and currently serves on the faculties of New York University, Neighborhood Playhouse, Stella Adler Conservatory, and William Esper Studios.  He holds an MFA from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, and an Honorary PhD from Rocky Mountain College.
