The Manitou Art Theater is dedicated to the creation and production of original, professional performances for audiences of all ages throughout the Pikes Peak region.
Jim Jackson is an internationally acclaimed clown in the theater & circus and has over twenty-five years of performing experience. He has performed with the Royal Lichtenstein Circus, Hoxie Brother’s Circus and England’s Chipperfield Circus. Jim’s performances have been featured at The Kennedy Center, New York’s Lincoln Center and Children’s Festivals in Toronto, Edinburgh, Philadelphia, London and Vancouver. Birgitta De Pree is a professional actor and educator whose work includes acting, writing, directing and teaching. She received her MFA from the National Theater Conservatory and performs in theaters throughout the U.S. “Elephant” was inspired by her twelve years in Africa and the amazing pachyderms she met there. She works extensively as an artist-in-residence throughout Colorado. |
